Now, I will always remember the first time I saw Katt was as Ralph in "The Greatest American Hero," but lately, I've seen him in a couple of shows before then.
He made a guest appearance in "Emergency!" in the episode "Weird Wednesday," back during its first season. He played Wally Lyton, whose dad has a heart attack and they all go to Rampart emergency. It's a pretty decent guest role in the episode, and he does a good job in it. Odd thing was, his inflection was a little along the lines of Randolph Mantooth's (John Gage's) though, so it was a bit funny.
He also appeared in an episode of "M*A*S*H," called "Dear Dad," again from the first season. He plays a private first class and appears near the end of the episode. His character's taking care of a buddy who was wounded in the chest and they are all waiting for Hawkeye to come. He does, but dressed as Santa Claus. Katt's character looks up and tells his buddy, "and you didn't think there was a Santa Claus." It was short and sweet, but fit well. Now '80s onward, I've seen quite a few as well several times, but it's been a while, so I'll have to see them again before I say anything about them.
Odd thing about the two parts was that William Katt was credited in "M*A*S*H," but not "E!" and I've always wondered why. He had a bigger role in the latter of the two, but the credits don't list him. The lady who played the mom said less and was credited, so go figure. Still, I will say the outfit he wore in that ep was '70s, but looked good on him.

I sawhin in 7th Heaven. Well he is good in anything he does but his hair was not blond. But I guess I can se why at least back then trying to have us see his character rather than seeing Ralph. I wouldn'r be suprised if he did it for that reason.

I've seen three, I think: the "Andromeda" episode, "Walker Texas Ranger" ...& the animated "Batman" episode "Riddler's Reform" in which he voiced one of Riddler's henchmen. He didn't have much to say & it was not really easy to tell that it was him.
And, I guess you could include "Battle of the Network Reality Stars..."

I vaguely remember catching a glance at his appearance in "Andromeda" (I was ill that night and it was a late show). I've never seen the "Walker" episode, but I've seen him in the "7th Heaven" one. I'd also like to hear him as the Green Guardsmen in "The Justice League" and to see him on the "Mystery Woman" episode.
Now, I remember when he appeared in "Circus of the Stars," but I keep forgetting what he did. I think he was the mystery clown (he appeared in the last or second to last year), but I'm not too sure. That's the one I'd really like to figure out.
(Bit spoilers ahead)
Now, I've also seen him in "Diagnosis Murder." He was in the episode "Flashdance with Death," (first season too) but he ended up being the corpus delicti. The downside to this is that he's a dance instructor, but doesn't get to dance much in it. If I remember it right (it's been a while), he gets to do a dance alongside Dr. Sloan (D ick Van D yke) to "Me and My Shadow." It was pretty good.

"Mystery Woman" was very good, but went the same way as the "Diagnosis Murder" ep, apparently.
"Walker" was decent. He had a very... interesting character.
I used to watch the "Circus Of The Stars" shows, but I don't remember anything about them, now. Would've liked to have seen, or atleast remember it.
I'd also like to see "Justice League." I'll have to check out Cartoon Network's listings.

I remember a lot of the "Circus of the Stars" eps, but it was an annual thing we watched at home. All three "GAH" leads were in the show one year, each a different year (Katt was last). Katt's is the only one I remember, at least partially. Funny thing is, I keep thinking he was the clown because the clown pic in the Hinkley home first/second season looks a lot like the mystery clown that year. But, this circus was also 14 years ago (I remember it being 1992).
I remember the last one in particular because it was when "Power Rangers" was really hot and David Yost ("Billy," first few seasons) did gymnastics and trampoline tricks. He was my favorite Ranger. I wish they'd bring it back, but given some of today's stars, maybe it's better to let it rest in peace.

I liked Jason He was sweet. It was esp funny when they changed into the Rangers and Yellow changed sex. We had a good laugh about that. I know it's OT but I needed to mention it.

That's fine, I went bit OT on it too. And I agree with Trini, it was a bit obvious in changing. I liked Tommy too, and he is one of the reasons the show's lasted as long as it has. He's also the only actor from the original run to wear almost all the men's colors of the uniforms (red, black, white, and green)
But, back OT, still, I wish I remembered for sure what Katt did. I know he wasn't in any of the real big thrill ones (trapeze or high wire) and since I'm sure he was in the last season, didn't do trampoline or the teetertotter thing (that's what Yost and a couple of others did).

He wasn't on "Power Rangers," at least to my knowledge. That stemmed from the "Circus of the Stars" comment about the guy who played Billy being in the last circus. I was trying to narrow down what I knew Katt didn't do in the circus.
"Diagnosis Murder" is no longer on regular TV (It was on CBS for quite some time). It stared D ick Van D yke as a crime solving doctor. They do show it on PAX TV now. He made the one appearance, but that was it. Robert Culp later on also made an appearance, but a different episode. Sorry to have confused you. I seem to have a real good record in doing that here and on the GAH board.

Here's the link for where I found the DVD (or VHS, if prefered): http://members.tripod.com/~HAKES/CIRCUSVIDEOS.HTML (It's #203.)
So far, I've emailed & paid the seller. Now I'm just waiting to get it. (I also bought #204.)

Hmmm...if the person's got the cast right, I might be wrong on what Katt did in the show. Jerry Van D yke I believe was the mystery clown when he appeared. So ... now I'll have to guess a different one. Maybe he did do the trapeze after all. Tom Wopat I'm pretty sure was the ringleader that year, so that negates that too.

Without digging through my video collection to check everything, off the top of my head Katt was in Ironside, one of the newer Alfred Hitchcock episodes, Good Sports, Models Inc., The Net, Sisters, Dark Justice, Burke's Law, I also have a tv movie Distant Cousins, and probably some others that I can't think of at the moment.

Hey your welcome! Sorry I don't have the individual episode titles memorized. I think he was also on JAG a couple of times, but I missed those.

oh, and I realize all of those aren't early shows, some are after TGAH, but it seems like people always ask what other programs he's been in, just thought I'd list what I had.
I forgot, I also have an episode of a game show called Street Smarts that he appeared on.
